Description:

The customer in the QA dept is looking for portable solution to measure the groove depth on his raw solar wafer as to determine the wire saw worn out condition. If the depth gets smaller, they will understand that it is time to change their wire saw in their production line.

Harmonic Mitigation

Description:

Increasing use of non-linear load, e.g. motor drive, power supply and computers is creating harmonics in power systems result in increased heating in the equipment and conductors, misfiring in variable speed drives, and torque pulsations in motors.

User are paying more attention to harmonics in electrical load and reduction of harmonics is becoming ever more aware and important than before..

SciGate recently installed a harmonic filter to help mitigate harmonics in a leading medical equipment manufacturing factory and successfully installed and test report proved that our performance satisfy IEEE-519-2014-Std (below 5% iTHD and 3% vTHD).

This opportunity was given to us due to competition failed the specification and performance test.

Stand alone and secure data logger

Expert Logger devices works independently without PC and can securely maintain recorded measurement data in its data memory for months, even in the event of a power failure.

Expert Logger devices are capable of acquiring any type of sensor signal such as voltages, currents, temperatures, pressures, levels, meters or switches.

Measurement rates range from millisecond to hourly intervals.

After power is restored, the devices automatically restart and continue data recording.

Data memories can be read out via LAN. Expert Logger devices data loggers also capable of monitoring and performing alarm functions.

Transmission of online measurement data

Wireless transmission of measurement data via WLAN offers benefits in many applications. In addition to fixed installations, WLAN measurement data transmission is often used for mobile applications, for example data transmission from rotating machine components such as generators or propellers.

The Expert Transient data recorders and Expert Vibro vibration measurement devices can be directly equipped with WLAN interfaces. Measurement data can be transmitted online via antennas attached to the devices. A WLAN router is available for the Expert Key for use with the WLAN function. Configuration of the WLAN system takes place using Access Point or WLAN client.

Mobile data acquisition

Machine and plant operation is becoming increasingly complex. While commissioning and servicing may be required around the world, measurement signals from sensors and actuators need to be acquired and analyzed in parallel to existing systems of process and control. Measurement systems need to be mobile, flexible and simple to operate.

Delphin provides mobile standalone devices and mobile measurement cases. The mobile measurement cases can be made to individual requirements. The independently operating mobile units are robust and built into a tough plastic case. They use either Message or Expert devices that can process all standard types of analog and digital signals. Signals are attached via plugs or terminals. Even inexperienced users are able to quickly generate meaningful diagrams using the ProfiSignal Go software.
