When a West Coast chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement of their terminal bulk storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. One of the largest suppliers of sodium hypochlorite in the US, the company dilutes, packages and delivers bleach to industrial, municipal and commercial customers in specified concentrations. As bleach is highly vaporous and corrosive, operators had problems with ultrasonic level sensors on their big terminal storage tanks, due to vapor, and its attenuating effects on acoustic signals over distance. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our pulse radar sensors that are unaffected by vapor. Theradar sensors provide continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, monitors the storage tanks and controls the inventory. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
