When a Northern California marine animal rescue center needed reliable level measurement of their bulk wastewater storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The rehabilitation center provides safe refuge and veterinary services to hundreds of sick or injured sea lions and otters a year. The majority of which live in group holding pens where they lounge or play in exercise pools. Each week, the pools are drained, cleaned and refilled. During which, wastewater is pumped into storage tanks and staged for treatment. There the operators had problems with pressure level sensors that would clog with animal feces. For this reason, Flowline suggested our non-contact ultrasonic sensors. The ultrasonic sensorsprovide continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, monitors the tanks, and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
