When a New Jersey food ingredient manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their pump lift stations, they turned to Flowline. The process flows into a large sump that collects and transfers residual ingredients, CIP chemicals and steaming hot water into wastewater treatment. The operators experienced several pressure sensor failures due to coating and corrosion, and ultrasonic sensors measured intermittently whenever steam entered the sump. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our pulse radar sensors that are unaffected by coating, corrosive or steaming wastewater. Thepulse radar sensoris bracket mounted to the sump top and provides continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, controls the submersible pump. The push button level display is panel mounted for convenient indication. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
