-
*5 The Vibration Resistance is 1.96m/s2 during DVD drive unit's read/write running.
-
*6 The front face of the GP unit, installed in a solid panel, has been tested using conditions equivalent to the standards shown in the specification. Even though the GP unit's level of resistance is equivalent to these standards, oils that should have no effect on the GP can possibly harm the unit. This can occur in areas where either vaporized oils are present, or where low viscosity cutting oils are allowed to adhere to the unit for long periods of time. If the GP's front face protection sheet becomes peeled off, these conditions can lead to the ingress of oil into the GP and separate protection measures are suggested., Also, if non-approved oils are present, it may cause deformation or corrosion of the front panel's plastic cover. Therefore, prior to installing the GP be sure to confirm the type of conditions that will be present in the GP's operating environment., If the installation gasket is used for a long period of time, or if the unit and its gasket are removed from the panel, the original level of the protection cannot be guaranteed. To maintain the original protection level, be sure to replace the installation gasket regularly.
-
*7 Regarding dimensional tolerance, everything +1/-0 mm [+0.04/-0 in.] and R in angle are below R3 [R0.12 in.].

Work Efficiency
Screen operation and communication setting on PC as done on GP
Using the IPC runtime engine, WinGP, allows you to design screens on industrial personal computers (IPC) with GP-Pro EX, the screen editor software.
In addition to sharing screen data with GP, this feature allows you to build a system that is highly compatible with general applications providing excellent connectivity with peripheral devices and other advantages that only IPCs can offer.
Screen creation on PL and PS Series with Windows® using the same HMI software as GP Series
Supports GP-Pro EX, the screen editing software for the GP3000 Series. This allows you to share screen data you have made.
Seamless communication with peripheral and control devices
Communication drivers are included as standard so there is no need to develop drivers for communication with PLCs, temperature controllers, and other control devices.
PC with graphic operator interface for space-saving
The system configuration which used to be built with PC, HMI and PLC can be built only with IPC and PLC.
Compatible with user applications
Dedicated API allows for flexible integration with in-house PC applications.
Communicate with user database using Handling API
Obtaining information and changing settings of WinGP can be performed through a user application.
Control devices through a user application using Device Address API
Addresses of devices in communication with WinGP can be read and written through a user application (in DLL format).
Supported languages: Visual C++, Visual Basic, C#, VB.NET, VBA

Maintenanceability
Hardware designed for easy maintenance
To avoid data loss due to sudden power failure (Battery Unit)
Available for: PL3000 Series (models with four expansion slots and AC power supply),
PS-3650A and 3651A (AC power supply models)
Power supply from battery unit protects data from loss due to power failure or voltage drop.
When the system detects a power failure, it is automatically suspended, hibernates or shuts down according to one of four state transition patterns. This allows no data to be lost in the event of a sudden power failure or instantaneous voltage drop.

Battery unit mounted on PS-3651A
System behavior when AC power supply is cut off in normal startup mode (PS-3650A, PS-3651A)
Note: Battery operation time may differ depending on system environment and device specifications. The system cannot hibernate when using the 1GB CF card with Windows® XP Embedded.
