The capaNCDT 6110 is a new capacitive single-channel displacement measurement system consisting of a compact controller, a sensor cable and the sensor.

 

Due to the miniaturized controller and its easy operation, the capaNCDT 6110 is ideally suited for the integration in machines and systems. With the possible power supply is between 9 – 36 V, the system can also be operated on a battery in passenger cars or trucks. The measurement values are output via a voltage output. The capaNCDT measurement system is a great solution for many different applications and is compatible with all Micro-Epsilon capaNCDT sensors.

 
 

Compact and versatile

The capaNCDT 6110 lends itself well to a wide range of applications and is compatible with all capaNCDT sensors. With a possible power supply of between 9V and 36V, the system can also be used in passenger cars and trucks. The measurement values are output via a voltage output.

Fiber optic sensors for gap, diameter, edge and presence

The optoCONTROL CLS-K fiber optic sensors consist of a transmitter and receiver for infrared or ultraviolet light with subsequent signal processing. Measurement is made directly on the object using fiber optics. The selection of the electronic amplifier is the key to successfully solving this measurement task. The correct fiber optic is then selected depending on the measurement task at hand. The decisive factors are the distance from the object to the electronics, as well as the minimum installation space required.

Fiber optic sensors for gap, diameter, edge and presence

Fibre optic sensors are simple sensors for determining dimensional quantities such as gaps or edges. The sensors are constructed like conventional light barriers but they are clearly superior. Measurement is made directly on the object using fiber optics.

 
 

 

Double sheet detection in printing machines

 

Eddy current sensors are used for detecting double sheets in printing machines. The sensor measures the distance to a measuring tag which is on the paper. The thickness of the paper is thus always measured. If there are two sheets on top of each other, the error is reliably detected.

Turbocharger speed sensors

 

The DZ140 is designed for measuring the revolutions of turbochargers. The system is optimized for modern, thin blades made from aluminum or titanium. Equipped with integrated temperature measurement the sensors can be used both for vehicle and test cell use.

Robust Miniature Controller

The complete electronics is integrated into an extremely compact aluminum housing. The DZ140 offers a high interference immunity, both in test rig operations and on-vehicle testing.

The DZ140 eddy current measuring system is resistant to fuel and oil and robust to high levels of shock and vibration. Combined with maximum operating temperatures of 115°C an integration in the engine compartment is possible.

 

Easy Handling

A tri-colour "status" LED on the controller indicates when the sensor has reached the ideal distance from the turbocharger blades. Furthermore the system is compatible with the previous sensor models. This feature enables reduced installation time.
 

Measurement of aluminium and titanium blades

The DZ140 is the only measuring system which measures both aluminum and titanium blades. The maximum measurement distance of 2.2mm enables secure and reliable operation. Also both radial and axial measurement installations are possible, enabling greater installation flexibility.

The confocalDT 2421 and 2422 controllers are used for distance and thickness measurements of diffuse reflecting and specular surfaces. Available as either a single- or a dual-channel version, these confocal chromatic measuring systems offer a low cost solution especially for series applications. The active exposure regulation feature in the CCD array enables accurate, fast surface compensation on changing surfaces.

 

This controller is compatible with all sensor types of the IFS series covering numerous measurement tasks. The controller is optionally available as a multi-peak version for multi-layer thickness measurements. Using a special calculation function, the confocalDT 2422 dual-channel version evaluates both channels. Measurement acquisition is synchronous and can be carried out while exploiting the full measuring rate for both channels.

 

Ease of use via web interface

Due to a user-friendly web interface, the entire configuration process is carried out without using any additional software. The web interface can be accessed via Ethernet and provides set up and configuration options. Materials are stored in an expandable materials database.
