SX-AP-4800WAN Network Graphic SX-AP-4800WAN
SX-AP-4800AN is a dual band 802.11n wireless access point (basestation) and is able to communicate with station devices (clients) supporting IEEE802.11a/b/g/n wireless networks. The USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port turns any USB device type into a network device.
SX-AP-4800AN is ideal for industrial or enterprise supporting enterprise wireless security and PoE (Power over Ethernet).
This Access Point is currently certified for Germany only. It only ships to Germany.

The IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN standards are supported. SX-AP-4800AN is designed for dual band operation on 2.4GHz or 5GHz. (Non concurrent / Non simultaneously) The 5GHz band has less interference and improves connectivity with various kinds of network devices.
Advanced security
High Wireless LAN security. The enterprise security, IEEE 802.1X,
is supported to achieve advanced safety.

PoE(Power over Ethernet)
SX-AP-4800AN can be powered by a PoE device complying with IEEE 802.3af through a network cable allowing flexible placement
of the access point. The included AC adapter is also available for power.
Radio output setting function
Wireless LAN radio intensity is configurable. The radio communication distance from SX-AP-4800AN will be shortened by lowering intensity and allows interference for other wireless networks.
Multiple logical wireless interfaces (Multi SSID)
More than one SSID is configurable at a time. SX-AP-4800AN can virtually operate as maximum of 4 access points.
Setting
The wireless setting is configurable using a web browser. The push button on the SX-AP-4800AN complies with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Security).
