TIM thermal imaging cameras are designed for non-contact measurement of surface temperatures from -20 °C to 2450 °C. They enable efficient monitoring and control of temperature-critical processes both with low temperatures (e.g. in cooling chains) and with very high temperatures (e.g. in glass and metal processing). Their high thermal sensitivity makes these infrared cameras ideally suitable for precise and dynamic tasks. Different performance classes enable a suitable model to be selected for every application. The camera is connected via a USB interface, which also supplies the power.
Infrared pyrometers for universal measurements

The video pyrometers thermoMETER CTVideo and CSVideo measure within the range from 50 °C to 2,200 °C and are therefore ideally suited to high temperature applications.
Infrared pyrometer with integrated controller for OEM
The infrared thermoMETER CS temperature sensors are equipped with a miniature sensor that is particularly suitable for installation in confined spaces. The small size and temperature resistance up to 120°C open up a wide range of applications.
Intelligent spotfinder pyrometer
The thermoMETER TIM 8 combines the advantages of a robust pyrometer with a thermal imaging camera. Due to its extremely compact size, it can also be integrated into machines and production lines. The spotfinder function enables precise temperature measurements with automatic sensor adjustment. In addition, remote focusing of the lens is possible via a motorized focus. This intelligent spotfinder pyrometer is used in automation, machine building and plant monitoring.
Fiber optic sensors are simple sensors for determining dimensional quantities such as gaps or edges. The sensors are constructed like conventional light barriers but they are clearly superior. Measurement is made directly on the object using fiber optics.
Laser scanners from Micro-Epsilon are among the highest performing profile sensors in the world with respect to accuracy and measuring rate. Profile scanners with red laser and patented Bue Laser scanners
Laser scanners from Micro-Epsilon are available with a red laser diode or with the patented Blue Laser Technology. Laser scanners with blue laser line are preferably used for profile measurements on red-hot glowing metals, as well as transparent and organic surfaces. While allowing significantly higher stability, the blue-violet laser beam does not penetrate the measuring object.
Measurement tasks involving blue laser scanners measuring on red-hot glowing measurement objects exceeding 700 °C and transparent objects such as glass and plastics are protected by patent law. The scanCONTROL laser scanners achieve excellent signal stability and thus precise measurement results on these surfaces.
Compact profile sensors
Compact size combined with low weight opens up new fields of application in profile measurement. The controllers of the scanCONTROL profile sensors being integrated in the housing simplify cabling arrangements and mechanical integration. Due to their compact size and their high profile frequency, the laser profile sensors are ideally suited to dynamic measurement tasks, e.g. in the production control or for robot mounting processes.

The sensors can be easily integrated into an existing customer software either via the available SDKs or the GigE Vision Standard which all scanCONTROL sensors meet (integration into image processing software). The sensors of the scanCONTROL SMART classes can directly transfer the measured values to the control systems using the following interfaces:

High-precision white light interferometer for non-contact distance and thickness measurements
The innovative white light interferometers from Micro-Epsilon set a benchmark in high-precision distance and thickness measurements. These sensors enable stable measurement results with sub-nanometer resolution offering a comparatively large measuring range and offset distance. The interferometers are available in 3 series: the IMS5400-DS for high-precision industrial distance measurements, the IMS5400-TH for accurate thickness measurements and the vacuum-suitable IMS5600-DS for distance measurements with picometer resolution.
Laser distance sensors are designed for non-contact distance measurements: laser gauges for measuring ranges up to 10m, laser distance sensors for up to 3,000m. These sensors are used for positioning and type classification in machine building and handling equipment.
