Displacement Sensors | LVDT S Series

The S series displacement sensor is the culminationation of many years experience gained from a history of excellent displacement sensors coupled with attention to detail market feedback. The result is a large range of sensors that is able to satisfy todays demanding manufacturingand research applications.

Displacement sensor s-series range

Combining multiple sensors using the Orbit Digital Measurement network is easy and data can be read using a Solartron readout or the Gauge Computer Software making system integration simple.

Digital Displacement

Whether a miniature displacement sensor is used within a semiconductor manufacturing process or a submersible transducer is monitoring the deformation of a structure in sea water, the need for rugged and reliable sensors over long periods of time remains the same.

The Ability to transfer fast and reliable data from Solartron LVDT based linear displacement transducers, even in harsh industrial environments, is made possible with solartron's well proven Orbit sensor network. The new range of Orbit 3 modules enable third party sensors, such as pressure, force and temperature, to connect to the same network using a common protocol.

Solartron has complete in-house control over all aspects of the design and manufacture of their extensive range of products, which has enabled many years experience in providing cost effective customised solutions for OEMs and Systems Integrators.

Single Leaf flexures & Mini probes

With the same advantages as the parallel flexure the single leaf flexure offers the gauge builder access to even more measurement points. With careful use of extension arms measurements can be made inside slots or between features where a conventional pencil probe cannot reach.

Attention to detail in both design and manufacture of the displacement sensor ensures precision measurement throughout the linear displacement transducer's life.
