The G-Type of analogue DC/DC Displacement probes are based on the LVDT sensing principle and feature a high accuracy, long life linear ball bearing (as AX-Series). All models incorporate a Linear Variable Differential Transducer (LVDT) as the measuring element, together with high performance conditioning electronics for low noise and superior linearity while being able to cope with a wide supply range.

 

The G-Type Analogue Displacement probe range has evolved from its predecessor DG series with marked improvement in features and performance. This product offers a perfect solution for various displacement applications with a good linearity and Repeatability.

Block Gauges

 

Solartron’s Block Gauges makes precision measurements of bores and cavities a simple and reliable process. More generally, the use of these devices is recommended in applications where space and access is limited and where the use of axial probes is not possible. The 2 mm Block Gauge is only 8 mm wide. The Block Gauges offer unrivalled ruggedness, accuracy and repeatability. All three units are extremely versatile and provide datum surfaces and all the adjustments required for precision gauging applications. Block Gauges have robust precision linear bearings with minimal clearance, which limits unmeasured movements maintaining good repeatability even when the contact tip is mounted off centre.

Combining multiple sensors using the Orbit Digital Measurement network is easy and data can be read using a Solartron readout or the Gauge Computer Software making system integration simple. 

Attention to detail in both design and manufacture of the displacement sensor ensures precision measurement throughout the linear displacement transducer's life.
