As the water level in the tank rises, the internal pressure of the detecting pipe increases and the diaphragm pushes the micro switch to make contact output. As the water level falls and the internal pressure of the detecting pipe decreases, the contact output is released by the return force of the micro switch and the deadweight of the diaphragm.
