Operating Principles

A read switch (SW) and resistance (R) are provided inside the stem. When the read switch contact at the position moved by the magnet in the float or liquid level change closes, the liquid level change is detected as a change of the resistance. This is output as a DC 4 to 20 mA current signal by the resistance-current converter.
