Foaming Pump Lift Station Liquid Level Sensor

When the municipality of Sayreville, NJ needed reliable level measurement of their pump stations, they turned to Flowline. Sewage from surrounding towns, enters the plant and is staged for treatment in these stations. Foam would periodically develop on the surface of the liquid, causing their ultrasonic level sensors to perform erratically due to acoustic signal loss. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our non-contact, pulse radar sensors whose measurement is unaffected by foam. Each pulse radar sensor provides continuous level data to the SCADA, which in turn, monitors the sump levels and actuates the transfer pumps. The sensors are conveniently mounted under the sump top for easy access. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
