Elevator Sump Pump Liquid Level Sensor

When ACS of New York needed reliable level measurement of their customer’s elevator sump pumps, they turned to Flowline. Sump pumps are located at the bottom of skyscraper elevator shafts to collect and transfer the building’s residual liquids into waste treatment. With a typical composition of water, grease, oil and particulates, their previous capacitance type level sensors would periodically fail due to material build-up, and required costly ongoing maintenance. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our non-contact ultrasonic level sensors that are unaffected by such variables.

The ultrasonic level sensor provides continuous level data to the building automation system, which in turn, monitors the elevator shaft sump levels and controls the pumps. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
