When a Midwest equipment manufacturer needed reliable level measurement of their chemical bulk storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. The client required a calcium, ferric and aluminum chloride tank farm for their wastewater treatment process, and wanted non-contact level measurement due to the corrosive and sticky liquids. Additionally, the process engineers expressed concern about the humid summers, and past negative experiences with acoustic signal attenuating condensation. For this reason, Flowline suggested the use of our reflective ultrasonic level sensors that are unaffected by condensation. The ultrasonic sensors provide continuous level data to the PLC, which in turn, monitors the tanks and alarms the replenishment. Flowline is reliable level measurement.
