CWM-2 Container Weighing System

Description

The CWM-2 Container Weighing System utilises load measuring pins that replace existing load bearing pins on the spreader or headerblock which are supplied with pre-wired cable assemblies to ensure fast installation and to simplify the set-up process. This also helps reduce costs by keeping equipment downtime to a minimum and by removing the need for specialised personnel to install the system. The load pins are connected to an interface module that takes all the data and converts it to an output suitable for transfer to the terminal operating system (TOS). DLL files can also be supplied for writing software for system integration. Data provided includes the load on each twistlock and the percentage of the total load it is carrying, as well as the total weight on all four twistlocks. The interface module also includes a linearisation feature that enables calibration to be carried out on site for optimal system accuracy.
