Drivers and interfaces

 

 

 

Delphin systems (comprised of ProfiSignal software, Expert series and Message hardware) are open systems that can operate with external software such as Instruments™ LabView™, DASYLab™ and Diadem™ through API interfaces and the corresponding drivers.

ProfiSignal API

The ProfiSignal API enables measurement data from external systems (hard and software) to be processed within the ProfiSignal software. The API OCX/.NET provides functions such as data recording and the familiar ProfiSignal software options such as operation and monitoring (visualization), alarm management, evaluation and the generation of complete systems with structure diagrams.

Device API

The device API provides the option to integrate measurement data from Message or Expert hardware directly into user applications, e.g. LabView™. Examples and predefined VI's are available specifically for National Instrument's LabView™, DASYLab™ and Diadem™ drivers are also of course available.

OPC Server/Client

The OPC standard enables the simple and straight forward exchange of data with other systems, e.g. programmable controllers or software systems such as Diadem™. ProfiSignal provides an OPC server and client to facilitate simple data exchange.
