Measuring fiber optic sensors for automation tasks

The CLS-K-6 fiber optic sensor has an integrated measurement function. In addition to measuring the presence of the object, its size in the measuring gap is also recorded by measuring the amount of light between the transmitter and the receiver. The quantity of light measured is then transmitted as an electrical signal via an analog output. The compact electronic unit is easily installed close to the measuring point. The measurement is made directly on the object by means of fiber optics.
