The scanCONTROL BL is used for multi-dimensional measurement on red-hot glowing metals as well as on transparent and organic materials. While allowing higher stability, the blue laser light does not penetrate the measurement object due to the shorter wavelength of the blue-violet laser and offers more stability. Red-hot glowing and even organic objects are measured more reliably compared to the red laser.

The scanCONTROL BL models offer the same excellent features as the scanCONTROL series that use a red laser diode. The Blue Laser scanners are as well available in three classes: Compact (2900/BL, 2700/BL), High-Speed (2950/BL, 2750/BL) and Smart (2910/BL, 2710/BL).
